Last Day of Instruction
We had our last meeting today and it was nice. Howard, Latrice, Chantha and Jay were here. We watched a recorded presentation of a couple of students presenting essays about their social entrepreneur, Mother Mary Ann Wright. Afterwards students reviewed portfolios and we closed the afternoon session with poetry. We read work from A Rose Grew from Concrete. Our final is next Wednesday, Dec. 19, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. We plan to meet here in the L-235 (Writing Center Lounge), where students will drop off their digitized portfolios and then we'll head over to Tillie's for brunch.

Students should be sending me research essay drafts, if you haven't already. You need a graded essay for your portfolio. We are not reading important essays for the first time on Wednesday.
