Subject: Biography Resource Center

Students will have to identify an author/book about or by a female author this semester. The Biography Resource Center seems like a good place to begin one's search, especially if one doesn't have an author or subject in mind.

The library has a new online subscription that may be of interest. Biography Resource Center contains thousands of biographies from published sources. If students need to do biographical research, have they can go to the COA library reference desk and the librarian there can show them how to use the database.

There is no reference service from 1:00 to 3:00 M-Th. Please advise your students to plan ahead.
