Post those additional responses to an argument: "Yes/ No/ Okay/ But" (From Chapter 4, They Say (55-67.)

Homework is to read chapter five (68) and do exercises 1 and 2. Bring in your Mighty essay for 2 (76-77).

a) In my essay the perspectives I engage in my essay are: Leymah’s, the peoples of Liberia, BB’s, a little of the child soldiers’ and my own.

b) Well I could include the perspective of a psychologist or sociologist to get a deeper understanding of what happens in this relationship between the “perpetrators” and the “victims”, or what happens within a society after a war and why it chooses to ignore certain problems.

c) To distinguish other peoples views from my own, I either introduced a quote, or signaled that it was the other persons idea or words, or paraphrased. When expressing my own view, I would signal it by putting ‘I’ or ‘my’ in the sentence to make it clear it was my idea.

d) Yes I do use clear voice-signaling phrases.

e) I’m not sure what I can do to clarify who is saying what.

f) See above.
