We will meet in A-205. Students will have to take turns using the computers. Bring Essay 1 from Pidd and be prepared to discuss the conclusion of the Introduction and we'll begin discussing Chapter 1, Dear Mama. If you see this, bring in The Rose That Grew From Concrete. The anniversary of Tupac's death is Sunday, Sept. 13.

What do you think Tupac's comments would be on the state of the country and world events? The 8th anniversary of Sept. 11, is Friday. The War in Iraq is how old? Elections--the sham of elections just concluded.

What would have been Tupac's role, if any, in the presidential campaign? What might he say about health care for all Americans? If he and President Obama has an opportunity to talk, what would they say to one another?

Tupac would be saying, “It’s 2009 and the same shit is on my mine,” why there are so many homeless people; why are all these babies’s dying; while so many mothers are trying, to put up them daddy’s that are lying. In the end, blacks are still broke and crying.
Whose war is this? What are we fighting to gain? How many men and women have we lost?
We experience that same thing here when Bush won the election by way of his brother, again no comment.
I know he would have been one of the guest speakers, and of course at many of the social events.
We all need health care, if this is not right then I know ant fair.
If they were to have a conversation, it would be something like “a change has come”
There is change in the Whitehouse, damn he looks like me, yet he never seen jail or the penitentiary. They do not like him because he is black, and they hate him because he is smart. Can he finish the mission that Bush fuck up and started? Yes, we can. I am that chosen man and here I stand.

Tupac would say something like we are suffering and what do you do? Stay in your white house living your happy life when you never experienced half of what I’ve gone through. Life the life of jail then come out and tells me everything is okay.

In my opinion, United States has many issues that need to be fix. The president is one person, he can not fix all of our problems but maybe in time he can help fix one by one. He can’t help the people who gave up on life. They have to fight to keep a job or fight for an education rather then sit down somewhere complaining about what the president should or could have done. The president is helping the world, and by helping the world he is helping people. Without him, there would be no house for any unfortunate to live, without him, there would be no warfare for anyone who needs him, and without him there wouldn’t be organization and programs for anyone. In my opinion, I believe the president is doing a good job but it’s the people who are not helping. (Depending on the case). Everything is so limit. If people are not satisfied with what they have, do something about it. Working anywhere is working somewhere. Things do not always goes your way, you make the best of what you have.

I think Tupacs comments on the state of this country would be, why is it still the same. Now that we got a black man as president hopefully we will see a change in the world. Tupac would probably want to speak with President Barack Obama and share some of his views on how the country is today and how it used to be. President Obama would probably take into consideration some of the things Tupac has to say because he would have spoke his thoughts well. Upon meeting the president Tupac will have done his homework and studied things about the president. He would know things such as his favorite music, his favorite sports teams, what books inspired him to be the man he is today and also his favorite authors.
If Tupac were involed in the presidential campaign his role would have most likely been to get the people involved. He would speak not only to his peers but to the world either through his music or through just speaking here and there to large crowds of people. He would stand by Prseident obama all the way to the finish. Tupacs thought on health care would probably be like most people health care shouldnt have a price on it. It should be free and given to whoever needs it when its needed.

I think that Tupac would feel that he hasn't made the impact he wanted on this world. He wanted the world to be a better place for the future generations which began with us today. what's crazy is that his message is getting out and is being heard but isnt being comprihended enough to the point where people would understand that what there doing is wrong.
I think that Tupac would Restart his Black Panther Party which would help contribute to stopping all of the tragedies in the our world.
