Spring is Here!
For the past two days in all classes we have been reviewing our current essay on THP. In all classes the big peer review is Wednesday. Bring the essay electronically to class with the IPS and outline. Start assembling the Essay Portfolio. Note the last page of the package for the order.
I forgot to include the two articles and their summaries. Put that before the reading logs.
If students need the extra time, you have until Monday, April 8, 2013 to turn in the essay portfolios.
We have almost completed the Hacker exercise package looking at plagiarism. We completed exercises 53-4 and 53-6 over the past two days.
Next week we will continue in They Say and share the books we are reading. Bring them to class on Monday, April 8-10, 2013. If students have not shared their Women's History Month presentation, we will save time for that Wednesday-Thursday, April 3-4, 2013.
For our freewrite tomorrow and Thursday, April 4, 2013, think about what Martin King meant when he talked about the "Beloved Community."
