Paragraph three: Lamott is simply restating her thesis in this paragraph. She's also reminding readers that writing is not quick and easy by saying “Writing is not rapturous”.
Paragraph four: In this paragraph Lamott brings to light the first steps of writing. She makes an analogy to help outline the proses, by comparing the first draft to a child saying whatever they want. Lamott emphasizes the importance of just getting words down on paper no matter how bad it is, because you're likely to find something good within in. Everyone has to start somewhere.
In Al’s SF Drafts paragraph 6 and 7 talks about coming to a stand still on her writing for her lead paragraphs describing her thoughts on drafts. In paragraph 7 she seems to over think her process before she can continue the first draft. She also shows how even though your writing might discourage you at first you should still continue to trust yourself and the process.

Anne goes on to explain the reality of how successful writers struggle with the process of writing a good draft. They must write more than one before being satisfied with their work.

Sumarry of Anne Lammot's "Shitty Drafts"
In the first draft Anne Lamott explains how people believe that writers are able to write without any difficulties. Anne goes on to explain the reality of how successful writers struggle with the process of writing a good draft. They must write more than one before being satisfied with their work.
Good responses. Remember that the writing in the summary needs to be concise and correct. It also needs to make sense.
If you state she "states her thesis," state her thesis (smile).
Some of the summaries sound like notes. The sentences are fragments and the writers use abbreviations instead of Lamott's complete name.
Good examples of summaries here are: Dorothy et al.; India et al.; Athena et al.; Victor Chen et al.; Leslie et al.
