Paragraph 5 Summary

Anne Lamott in Paragraph 5 addresses the insecurity and doubt through the writing process. She explains the insecurity and desire to give up and quit, continuously battles with the process yet always brings herself back to writing through an unrelated routine of her own. She reiterates the need to write a “really shitty first draft” and reminds herself that “no one was going to see it”.
