Reread and annotate the first chapter based on our conversation this morning. Don't forget to jot down a brief summary of the chapter in a separate notebook.

We will talk about the chapter in small groups tomorrow. Bring Rose to class. Homework for Thursday is to read the preface and introduction to Rose.

Keep doing the exercises in Pidd. Tomorrow we will have a short quiz on Sentence Punctuation (smile). Thursday we will write the essay, tomorrow we will talk about it.
