Today it was a wrap. We spent the first half an hour writing the first narrative essay for the portfolio. The second 20 minutes we cited the video I showed you and the two chapters from Writing with a Thesis, Chapters 7 1/2 and 8 1/2.

Students also need to cite the Hacker handout from The Writing Process: 3a Make global revisions: Think big.

Don't forget to also include They Say, I Say in the citations for the second narrative on revision and your writing process.

Again, what you do not cite, put in the bibliography. For the essay you have to cite at least two sources, perhaps three, 1-2 of your essays and 1 scholarly source on revision strategies and why they are important.
