Today we concluded presentations in the 8 AM class. Homework is to continue working on your social entrepreneur essays. Monday we will perhaps write a fast draft after speaking about certain aspects one should include in the essay.

Antoinette Armour, Virginia Tan, Makonnen Richardson, and Gabe Shalaby presented. If Remy wants to present Monday she can; you can as well as Tracci.

Check your mailboxes for grades. I will be sending them to everyone. If you do not get a grade from me on all your essays, this means I did not get the essays. Next week we will spend class time on revisions.

New SE essay due date is Thursday, Nov. 29 for peer review. We will conclude with final references to They Say--acknowledging the controversy or naysayers, developing empathy and the meta-commentary.

Many essays I am reading have sloppy MLA. Remember, this class is a class where you learn to document your sources. Everyone in the class technically knows how to write an essay--this class is more practice doing so. Use Hacker to check that your MLA is perfect, especially the Works Cited page and the Bibliography.  For the Afeni Essay, one had to use "qtd. in Guy" for the in-text citations.
