More MLA Review
Finals for the two classes will be the week of Dec. 14. It will be a potluck. If someone wants to organize this let me know.
For the 11-11:50 AM class we will meet Wednesday, Dec. 12, in our classroom D-113 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
For the 8-8:50 AM class we will meet Friday, Dec. 14, in A-200 8-10 a.m. in A-202.
Final portfolios will be due between Friday, Dec. 14 and Monday, Dec. 18, 12 noon. Check your email to make sure I have signed off on it before you go on vacation.
Today in class we reviewed MLA. Students were given 3 worksheets. We completed one (55-4) in the 8-8:50 a.m. class.
Homework: Bring in a published introduction to share. Be prepared to share why you like it. For Thursday, bring in a copy of a published conclusion to share. We will take the MCE 2 on Thursday as well.
Next week more MLA, revisions and portfolio workshops. Let me know if there is anything specifically you'd like to focus on.
Bring in a fast draft of your SE essay for a peer review Thursday. We will have a formal peer review next Monday.

The only benifical results of the war was that marji was sent to live in Austria to be able pursue opportunities she wouldn’t have had other wise. If the intensity of the war hadn’t escalated, marji would have been stuck in iran with a continuously repressive Islamic republic being forced upon the people. So when Marjis father says “weve decided to send you to Austria” (pg147) in a sense, that was one the most positive results of the war for marji.
